Over the years I’ve had fun experimenting with my personal style. In my teens and early twenties I went through phases of trying to replicate the Brit-cool looks of Kate Moss and Alexa Chung before leaping to the boho end of the spectrum, inspired by the Olsen Twins and Rachel Zoe and trawling ebay for floaty, floral vintage dresses and bags inspired.
These days, you’ll mostly find me in a combo of staples and vintage or vintage inspired pieces: mom jeans, oversized shirts, culottes, slogan tees, midi skirts, blazers, trainers. Comfort is key for my style but I do still like to make a statement. Whether that’s through recreating a ‘look’ which has inspired me or by mixing in a statement item with wardrobe staples.
Embracing my inner man repeller
So I suppose if wearing pieces that I like, even if they raise a few eyebrows, means I dress to man-repel, then I wear my man repeller badge with pride!

Style is such a personal thing and I think we all take a while to finally work out what we want to achieve with what we wear and how we want to feel from it. I think as long as YOU'RE happy, screw what everyone else thinks! 🙂Musings & More
